I wrote this sold-out Groupon deal for Video Ezy during the dying days of DVDs, in a region notorious for downloading movies. My bosses said they "loved" this piece.
Bartering in the olden days wasn't always an exact science: a goat and a palm tree might get you a slingshot and a small wife rather than the bamboo couch and stone pillow you were hoping for.
