Marina Bay Sands

Project in Brief

Las Vegas Sands wanted responsive websites, or sites that look good on a variety of devices, browser windows and screens for all of its properties. Marina Bay Sands (Las Vegas Sands' resort in Singapore) was chosen to launch the pilot responsive site because head office felt we consistently had the "best looking" site in its portfolio.

Role

content lead

The Highlights

  • I led a small Singapore/China team to test and populate this multi-million dollar website.

  • We worked closely with HQ and our vendor to finish a big job on a tight deadline.
  • I oversaw the translation of the site into 6 Asian languages including Chinese, Japanese, Korean and Indonesian Bahasa.
  • I developed a visually-compelling content strategy, with an Asian point of view. (This was based on working with research groups in Shanghai, Hong Kong; and interviews in Singapore.)
